About Jamie

Jamie cared for our son for a year, from the time he was 18 months old until he was two and a half, and we could not have asked for a more loving, trustworthy, and thoughtful caregiver. I always knew, without a doubt, that he was safe, deeply cared for, and treated like part of her family. Jamie worked incredibly hard to honor our preferences and maintain his schedule while filling his days with fun outings, engaging activities, and creative, enriching projects. She helped teach him invaluable lessons about sharing, kindness, and independence, and played such an important role in his growth during a very formative year. One of the things that impressed us most was the care and effort Jamie put into helping him overcome his separation anxiety. When he first started with her, drop-offs were often tearful and difficult. Jamie proactively researched the best ways to support a child struggling with separation and came to us with thoughtful strategies we could use together. With her patience, consistency, and encouragement, he grew into a child who felt confident and secure at drop-off. The foundation she helped build made his eventual transition from her care to preschool incredibly smooth and successful. She communicated with me throughout the day, regularly sending updates and photos that made me feel connected and reassured. She was also wonderfully flexible and consistently took our family’s needs into consideration when making plans for her own family. Over the year Jamie cared for our son, our children formed an incredibly special bond and such a sweet, genuine friendship. Two years later, they are still close friends, and our families have become wonderful friends as well. That lasting relationship speaks volumes about the loving, family-centered environment Jamie created and how deeply she welcomed our son into her life. Jamie is truly one of the best parents and caregivers I know, and I trusted her judgment completely in every situation. The love, patience, and effort she poured into caring for our son meant more to us than I can express. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her care for their child, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
