About Helena

Hi! I'm Helena, an experienced nanny with over 10 years of childcare experience. I began babysitting at 14 y/o and have since worked in preschool settings and long-term private nanny roles. I create structured, engaging days that balance fun and learning! Depending on age, that might look like age-appropriate play and activities, outings (library, park, play groups, sports, etc.), encouraging independence and social-emotional skills, and supporting early numeracy, literacy, writing, and homework help. I enjoy getting to know each child's personality and meeting them where they are developmentally. I value open communication, clear expectations, and strong relationships with the families I work with! I have a B. S. in Psychology with minors in Family & Consumer Science and Sociology and am CPR/First Aid certified. ***I currently nanny part time and am looking to add one consistent full day per week with plans to transition into a full-time nanny role within the next year or so.***
