Hello! My name is Hannah and I am 27 years old from the Newington/Berlin area in CT. I have 15 years of experience caring for children and have been professionally working with special needs children for nearly 7 years through my roles as a paraeducator and a behavior therapist. I am so lucky to have found my passion working in special education teaching students with autism and supporting their families. I use my experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, mostly notably play and natural environment teaching, to teach children functional skills and help them work towards goals. I am currently looking for summer work with the potential for long term growth with your family. My hours of availability differ because I work with other families as well but I would love to discuss what your family's needs are. I have multiple references available upon request.

Hannah babysat my 3 children, ages 2, 5, and 8, this summer for 10-15 hours per week plus an occasional date night. I can't recommend her highly enough - she was great. She always came prepared with something to do with the kids, whether and art project, cooking competition, or a park date. She could handle the craziness of our house with calm and a sense of humor. She has an excellent work ethic - she was always punctual, neatened up after the kids, and was flexible with our schedule. My kids loved her - even my teenage daughter looked forward to when Hannah was around.
