About Haley

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, patient, and creative. I like working with kids because it is uniquely rewarding to see kids gain confidence and understanding, nurture skills, and see their personalities grow. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with children outside of school hours. I started working with kids coaching gymnastics at 14 years old! Years later, I worked as a 1:1 para educator in highly structured special education. Now, I am a certificated substitute teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy my many hobbies: gardening, sewing, painting, thrifting, and spending time outside with my dog Willow! One thing you should know about me is that I bring a calm, approachable demeanor. My skills include: 1. CPR/First Aid/AED certification, de-escalation experience 2. Ability to plan age-appropriate activities in a variety of interests (art, sewing, science, etc.), teaching and tutoring skills 3. Maintaining composure and adaptability in high-stress scenarios
