About Gwen

Hi, I'm Gwen! I have been a part-time nanny for a couple of amazing infants, have completed pre-k professional development through Colorado Shines, worked for a short time in the infant room in a daycare environment, and was a nanny during college for several years, which I started when the child was 2 months old. After years working in higher ed, I realized the parts of my previous work I loved most were the relational and supportive aspects -- helping people, building trust, creating stability, and being someone families could rely on. I may be newer to returning to childcare professionally, but I take the role very seriously and I'm intentional about continuing to learn and grow in the field. I have reliable transportation and am a non-smoker. I recently completed a 3 hour non-certified class with the Red Cross for Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/Emergency Response. As a long time volunteer with NoCo Humane, I will be absolutely comfortable with your furry family, as well.
