About Gabriel

Hi! I'm a certified Middle School Social Studies teacher and Davidson College graduate with 10 years of private tutoring experience. Over the last decade, I've worked with students across various learning styles to strengthen critical thinking, essay writing, history comprehension, and core study habits. As a current High School Speech & Debate coach and Middle School Basketball and Track coach, my approach to academic support feels very much like athletic coaching. I focus on building confidence, developing structured routines, and helping students articulate their ideas clearly-skills that pay off in Social Studies, English, and beyond.
