12+ years spent enriching the lives of seniors and adults has fueled my passion for caregiving. Before my career path with seniors, I worked with adults with Autism for 6+ yrs. My graduate studies enhanced my understanding of holistic well-being, which I apply daily. I am patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented. I respect the independence of those I care for and adapt to changing routines, including handling confusion or behavioral changes with memory care needs. I provide transportation, run errands, assist with personal care, light housekeeping, and prepare meals. I have experience with vascular dementia (following a stroke) and aphasia. I've worked with patients with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease and Diabetes. I communicate clearly with families and provide written reports. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and QMAP certified (medication management). Helping others live comfortably brings me great joy, and I look forward to bringing that comfort to your family.
