About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I'm a 32-year-old mom to a 5-month-old boy. I am looking to nanny for a family either full-time or part-time. My hours are flexible and I'm available 6 a.m. to 9 pm, Monday through Friday! I can also offer occasional weekend sitting. I have 17 years of childcare experience, with children aged newborn to 18 years old. I've worked as a Sunday School teacher, a preschool TA, a daycare worker (ages 5 months through 7 years old), as a nanny (to an infant and to older children as well), and I have worked with children on the Autism spectrum for the last 6 years. I have my Master's degree in Special Education, and I've been CPR-certified for 10 years. I would need to bring my 5-month-old son along, but he's a very easy-going baby! I would love to work with another baby so they can interact and work on social skills, without exposure to the germs that you'd find in a daycare. I am willing to accept a lower rate due to this!
