About Emily

I have childcare experience dating back to 2018 in camps and private babysitting. I began working at a summer camp for children with Type 1 diabetes, where I helped create a fun, safe, and supportive environment. I worked closely with nurses to monitor the children's health while ensuring they could enjoy camp and simply be kids. In 2019, I worked for Camp Adventure at a U. S. military base in Atsugi, Japan, leading a summer day camp for children of active-duty military families. I created lesson plans, organized activities that balanced learning and play, and supervised children of various ages in a safe, engaging environment. Since then, I've continued babysitting on and off. I'm excited to return to childcare because I love creating a positive, caring environment where children can learn, have fun, and feel safe while giving parents peace of mind.
