About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I'm a huge people person, whether they're older or younger than me! I have experience with all age groups from infants to older adults in their 70s. I love to cook, go outdoors, and get creative with activities and crafts! Little bit about me is that I'm currently a senior in college, I adore to traveling having been to 10 different countries now, and I write poetry & do yoga on my free time. I am a big sister to 3 much younger siblings so i've been an unofficial babysitter for 10 years now. Professionally, i've been privately nannying for 5 years and have also worked as a companion and caregiver for adults with disabilities. I have worked at senior centers as an activity coordinator and have been a companion to an amazing woman with alzheimer's. That experience taught me so much about myself and about how to care for adults with dignity and care. I have taken multiple child development courses, and have CPR certification.
