About Elizabeth

Hi! I'm Lizzie, a graduate of UNC Charlotte with a BA in sociology, double minor in child development and urban youth! I have over 7 years of experience -- previously working as a preschool teacher, caregiver and tutor. I am primarily a tutor located in Forest Hills, Queens. I tutor ages 6yr-14yrs. My main focus is reading, comprehension, math & science! In this field, I assess the child's knowledge as well as encourage them to do their best. With the observations conducted, I am able to tailor each tutoring session to the child's needs. I specialize in special education & elementary. Childcare: I am interactive with children meaning I am able to engage in various activities whether physical or educational. My main goal is to enforce the parents rules while allowing the child to be imaginative and creative. My favorite activity to play with children is hide and seek! "Miss. Lizzie" is reliable, empathic and playful! I am looking forward to meeting you and your little!
