About Elena

Hi, I'm Elena! I've been working with children for over 10 years through babysitting, preschool after-school programs, summer camps, and now through my work advocating for children and families while in law school. I'm patient, dependable, and love creating a safe, fun, & encouraging environment where kids can learn and be themselves. Whether we're reading, playing outside, doing crafts, or working through homework, I strive to make every child feel supported and every parent feel at ease! I also offer tutoring support in English writing and persuasive writing, Spanish language (from beginner to advanced), as well as history, social studies, and government/civics. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their ideas, strengthen their writing skills, and better understand the world around them. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, and intermediate in Portuguese, and I'd love the opportunity to help your family!
