About Eleanor

Hi! I'm Ellie, and I have hands-on experience providing senior care. I moved in with my grandparents after my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer in 2024 and cared for her until she passed three months later. We were extremely close, so caring for her during that time was incredibly meaningful to me. I administered medications, prepared meals, helped with bathing and toileting, helped her in and out of bed, brought her to appointments, and helped with physical therapy exercises at home. I was trained by professionals on safe techniques for assisting her. I also handled laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, organizing, etc. After my grandmother passed, I continued living with my grandfather for 2 years and helped with medications, appointments, meals, errands, and daily household needs. This experience taught me patience, compassion, dignity, and the importance of companionship. I believe great senior care is about helping someone feel safe, respected, comfortable, and cared for.
