About Edie

WORK EXPERIENCE. My brother was born when I was 9, which is when I started babysitting and my love for kids began. I knew at 15 that I wanted a career involving children or babies, and I've always wanted to be a mother, but wasn't sure what specific direction to take. From 2014 to 2016, I worked as a substitute teacher for kindergarten to 5th grade. From 2016 to 2017, I was a floater at a daycare, working with kids from 6 months to 5 years old. I've periodically babysat my friends' childen since then. CAREGIVING STYLE. I am patient and attentive to children's physical and emotional needs, and strive to learn their unique personalities in order to foster a meaningful connection. I love playing games of all kinds with kids and encouraging them to use their imagination. It's important to me that parental and household rules are enforced.
