This applicant accepted a position to work with my special needs son, we set up a start date and then she told me she was going on vacay (after she took the position, after the interview), the following week we agreed she would start. That day she texted me and said she had a family emergency, haven't heard from her since. She left me hanging. Not a good thing for a special needs family who was relying on the help.
