Previously CNA licensed (reactivating). Working on phlebotomist license. I have had many patients verbally tell me that they appreciate how gentle and thorough I am when cleaning them. I usually am a NOC shift worker, meaning I help out the residents with using the restroom, changing their diapers, giving bed baths, make sure they get back to their rooms if they're wandering, vitals, cleaning colostomy bags, and much more in the middle of the night. However I have had experience with helping during their daily activities as well. I have helped residents with feedings and showers as well. I love my position and I am always looking at what I can do to make the patient feel as comfortable as they can. I have experience transferring patients and using transfer machines. As well as many home health aide experiences! I have had experience also doing light chores around the house for my live in residents!
