I'm Ms. Diamond, a caring and dependable childcare professional with 8 years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks-18 years old. I've been caregiving since 2022 and currently work full-time as a Special Education Teacher's Assistant.

I previously worked as a daycare teacher at a childcare center in Chesapeake for 4 years and have additional experience as a Mental Health Technician working with adolescents.

I couldn't have asked for a better caregiver for my daughter. Diamond was able to get my daughter to not only try new things, but do new things. I greatly appreciated the time, patience, and expertise she provided to not just my daughter, but to myself and her mother.  If the stars on this rating went to 10, she would get 100. I highly recommend her for any and all future endeavors and couldn't be thankful enough to have had her in all of our lives. 

Incredible babysitter! We have been using her for years for vacations, date nights, and even last-minute outings. She is extremely professional, dependable, and very hands-on with our children. Our kids absolutely love her, and we always feel comfortable knowing they are in great hands. Highly recommend!

On time and courteous. She did a fantastic job with our son took him to the pool, played with him, and had him in bed and asleep early. You can tell she truly cares for the child she’s watching over. Would def contract her services again. If you’re in the Virginia Beach area (we were just visiting) I’d highly consider getting her for child care 10/10

The kids and our family love Diamond! Diamond has taken great care of our toddlers (starting as infants) for more than two years. She tends to their needs as we would and is a positive strong trusting role model for them. She pays close attention to their schedule and updates us throughout the care time. Punctual with great communication!

The caregiver watched my daughter once and she was very sweet and my daughter really liked her ! Until about a week later the caregiver asked for an advance after only watching my daughter once .. the following week the caregiver overslept then said her ride was booked and then stated her ride cancelled and couldn’t make it …. I don’t the caregiver is bad but not the greatest caregiver either. 

Diamond was absolutely wonderful with my two boys (ages one and three). She arrived on time, followed instructions carefully, and was very attentive and engaging with them throughout her time here.
She sent updates and pictures, which was incredibly reassuring while being away from home. It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were happy and well cared for.
I highly recommend Diamond and would gladly work with her again.

Diamond is a superhero!

I was new to this whole nanny thing, especially using a platform like Care.com. I was nervous, particularly because I have a special needs child. But Diamond completely changed my outlook. She is truly fantastic: loving, understanding, patient, and incredibly dedicated.

My three children spent the summer in Virginia, away from our home in New York, and they absolutely adored her. She communicated with me daily, giving me detailed updates on their activities, which gave me so much peace of mind.

Diamond went above and beyond—taking the kids to the movies, museums, parks, and even an amusement park. She always ended the day with a fun treat, making each day special and memorable for them.

We love Ms. Diamond so much! She’s become part of our family, and we still keep in touch. I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver.


Good communicator.  Unfortunately she cancelled at 1AM, 7 Hours before the job, for a sick family member so we were not able to employ her. 

Punctual and respectful. Would hire again!

I can’t tell you enough about how grateful I am for Diamond! She has helped me a handful of times. She is punctual, communicates effectively, flexible if need be. But an outstanding babysitter above all. She loves kids and to any parent it’s a lot more meaningful to know that she loves what she does. Love her so much! Forever thankful for her!

Diamond initiated a video chat to ensure communication was established prior to her arrival. She arrived early and immediately sat with the us and our nephew putting us at ease. We observed Diamond and our nephew hitting it off before leaving for dinner. My nephew had a great time and we were able to have a nice dinner out. Highly recommend Diamond!

I love how she interacts with my child and makes him feel comfortable. After meeting diamond she is all my child talks about 

Diamond has been the best sitter we could have asked for. She's been with us for a few months and I feel comfortable leaving my children with her for any period of time. She's punctual, respectful, and a joy to have around. 

She’s amazing with my children. They are very young (2 years old and 10 months) and she caters so well to them. The biggest pro for me is that my children are comfortable and well taken care of and that’s never a worry with Diamond. She’s spectacular! I love her as do my children.
