About Dessie

I am a grandmotherly type of caregiver. I love nurturing children and watching them blossom. I've had a lot of nurturing roles in life, but this is my first formal childcare on an app. With children, I enjoy nature, swim time, and playground time, occasional excursions to an event or a museum. or festival. I follow the parents' lead on discipline as much as possible, if needed. For tidiness, I leave things better than I find them. I have a full background and driver's check available with a squeaky clean record on both. I have completed and can provide certificate for the CPR/AED for infants and children and BLS (basic lifesaving skills). I like short, one-off jobs. Former roles with children (in addition to grandparenting): current licensed KS school sub 2 years, past Girl Scout leader 7 years, past day care provider 2 years. I enjoy babies and am very fond of cats and dogs.
