About Derek

I'd describe my personality as Extroverted, Playful, and Ecstatic! :) I like working with kids because it's so much a blast! They are full of energy and are always down to fun things and always up for an adventure. Working with kids adds joy to my life and I grew up with babysitters and went to camps all the time and I know how fun it was to have sitters to play with. Having cool sitters and counselors is like having that cool older sibling you always wish you had. I always had a blast with babysitters and counselors and I hope to create those special fun memories for them as I still cherish my own that I've made with others. One thing you should know about me is I am a firefighter and I am CPR certified and have various life support training under my belt so please feel at ease that god forbid anything happens you'll already have a first responder right on the scene :)
