About Denver

Hi! I'm Denver, a 19-year-old college student from the Washington, DC area, where I grew up. I'm entering my sophomore year of community college and pursuing a biology degree. I've cared for children since I was 11, regularly babysitting my younger sisters and cousins. I also completed 100 community service hours at Hearst Recreation Center, working with elementary school students from PHES. I genuinely love children and believe a safe, caring environment can make a huge difference in their development. I'm responsible, patient, and attentive, and can help with meals, homework, cleaning, laundry, and activities. I'm also experienced with pets. I have a dog and a red-eared slider turtle that I've raised and cared for since she was young, including helping her recover from illness. As someone with a severe peanut allergy, I'm extremely knowledgeable about cross-contamination, food safety, and basic allergy-response procedures, including EpiPen administration.
