Hello I am a middle aged caregiver that started out leaving college and becoming a nanny in NYC and NJ. I did that for 5 years before starting my own licensed home based day care in Brooklyn, Ny. After 3 yrs. Of much satisfaction but moderate income I heartedly joined Kinder Care Daycare. I was unused to corralling children in an institutional manner but I adapted. I began to enjoy the support of co-workers and lesson plans. I worked on day care in Maryland for approximately 2 years before returning to private childcare for and additional 3 yrs.
