About Delaney

I am currently working towards a degree in elementary education at College. Outside if school, I work part-time as a competitive gymnastics coach, as well as a preschool aged gymnastics instructor. I also have with experience leading a preschool aged classroom at a daycare for 5 years. When it comes to babysitting and teaching, I believe children are capable of understanding when they are taught in meaningful, creative, and engaging ways. I personally do not believe in punishment/harsh discipline when it comes to children's behaviour. Instead, I believe in using redirection and guidance as a way to teach children how to manage, understand, and implement appropriate behaviour. When it comes to my babysitting/teaching style, I love to find creative activities that are engaging and enjoyable. Whether that is spending time outside, doing crafts, reading, or playing with different toys.
