About Delaney

Hi! I'm Delaney, a Master of Social Work candidate at Boston University with experience supporting children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, including traumatic brain injuries. I'm passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care while helping each person feel safe, supported, and included. I LOVE working with kids and making caregiving fun! I enjoy crafts, games, reading, baking, outdoor activities, creative projects, and finding activities that fit each child's interests. I'm always happy to make a craft, play pretend, have a dance party, or spend the afternoon creating memories together! My social work education has given me experience with child development, disability, trauma-informed care, communication, and emotional regulation. I'm reliable, attentive, creative, and committed to building trust with children and parents. My goal is for kids to feel happy and cared for, while parents feel confident and comfortable when they're away.
