About Deanna

First and foremost, I am a mom & a compassionate daughter to my knight in shining armor. For the most part, my background has been administrative however, very early in my career I was a Certified Home Health Aide for 3 years. My responsibilities were mostly for adults with disabilities & included personal care, vitals, range of motion, meal prep, errands & companionship. Later in life, when my daughter was very young I worked at her day care with the 18-24 month group. There were lots of smiles watching them grow and testing their independence. My responsibilities were, diapering, meal prep, lesson planning, cuddles and making learning fun! In 2020 I left the 9-5 and went back to my love; caring for those who have slowed down in life. I have had the privilege to work with a 93 yr old woman with vascular dementia and currently work with a 92 yr old woman who requires a hoyer lift transfer in and out of bed. Personal care, medication prompting, meal prep, laundry and companionship.
