About Damilola

Hello! My name is Dami and I am a rising junior at Barnard College studying Cognitive Science and Education. I love working with children, and have had the privilege to do so for the past 6 years. For three years in high school, I student taught in junior kindergarten classes. After coming to college I have tutored elementary and middle schoolers, taught math to 2nd and 3rd graders, and was a middle school social studies teacher with Breakthrough at the Greater Boston campus. I am also CPR certified and have received extensive pedagogical and psychological training for teaching and taking care of children. I'm also a non-smoker. Some of my other hobbies include cooking, reading, singing, skateboarding, tumbling (gymnastics), and shopping!
