About Claire

Hi families! I'm Claire, a UC Berkeley graduate with 7+ years of childcare experience. I started at 15 regularly babysitting for a family with 3 little ones, and recently spent two summers leading youth programs as the High Ropes Course Coordinator at Kennolyn Camps in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I also cheperone for an international youth travel program during my Summers. I have experience working with kids ages 0-17. I am curious, love the outdoors, and am deeply grounded, patient, and creative. Philosophically inclined, I love asking questions and am a great listener who follows a child's natural sense of wonder. My approach is simple. I treat kids like real people, never like they are incapable of learning or doing. Whether we are exploring nature or working through a challenge, I focus on building trust, centering safety, and helping young people feel capable and heard.
