I moved to SC from SLC, UT about 18 months ago to care for my aging mother, but she's still self sufficient so I have plenty if free time. I have 2 amazing daughters. 1 is in Tacoma while her husband is in his 3rd year of residency. My youngest is still in Utah and starting her 1st year of residency. Re: my caregiver experience, I have cared for children off/on extensively over the past 20+ years. Once my kids were grown, I sold my home & moved to Maui for 6 yrs where I worked through care. com and primarily cared for families on holiday. It was a fantastic experience & I was able to meet so many different people from all over the world. I returned to UT & nannied for families in Park City, again primarily those on ski vacations, some that turned into full-time jobs. I'm grateful for those experiences and for the connections made year after year. As I settle in here in SC, my hope is to integrate with families nearby & become part of their children's lives on a consistent basis.
