About Chico

I am privileged to accept any opportunity to help a family in the area of childcare. I have a deep love for youth from ages K-12 and I currently mentor and assist scholars 6-8th grade at an afterschool program with Pittsburg United School District. My main priorities are that your children feel safe, seen, and supported in whatever academic or extracurricular endeavors they are partaking in. I have tutoring experience, a youth leadership background, and am CPR/First Aid Certified. My academic strengths are in Science (Anatomy & Physiology/Biology/APES) and English (Narrative/Argumentative Essays). I love to get creative so planning outdoor activites, arts & craftsmanship and cooking tasty health conscious meal are just a few basic ways to keep your children in an active, dynamic lifestyle. I hope to have the honor of not merely babysitting but growing meaningful relationships with parents and their children as we meet their needs together!
