About Chelsea

My full time job is as a high school English teacher, which I have done since 2013. I completed my education at KU, with my BSE and MSE in Secondary English Education. I am a foster mom to two adult children who have aged out of foster care. I am incredibly enthusiastic and energetic, and I love working with kids. I work very hard to take care of myself and my family, and apply that same care and integrity to my teaching and additional family/child care work. I am very excited about providing support to families in search of a responsible, caring, and supportive caregiver. I am happy to help with light housework, pets, pet sitting, overnights, odd hours, babysitting opportunities, or anything else you might think of for your family. I have worked with teenagers for the majority of my teaching career, but I have also worked as at-home support to children with exceptionalities and special needs for a number of years. I am excited to hear from you and help your family's needs! :)
