About Chanique

Caring for children is something I genuinely enjoy because I love helping them learn, grow and feel confident in who they are. I am patient, dependable, nurturing and attentive, and I always aim to create a safe and engaging environment. I have experience working with children through childcare, teaching, and youth programs, including serving as an Assistant Sabbath School Teacher at my church. I enjoy reading with children, helping with homework, planning educational and creative activities, playing games, and supporting daily routines. I am also available for afterschool care and homework help. I understand that every child has a different personality, learning style, and set of needs, so I take the time to get to know each child and follow each family's routines and preferences. I am CPR and First Aid certified, responsible and communicative. My goal is for every child in my care to feel safe, valued, encouraged, and genuinely cared for.
