About Catrina

It is an honor to write this recommendation for my sister, Catrina, who is quite simply one of the most dedicated, patient, and naturally gifted caregivers you will ever find. Whether she is caring for elderly individuals with complex medical needs or looking after children, her protective, nurturing heart and exceptional work ethic shine through in everything she does. I have witnessed firsthand the level of care she provides under high stress circumstances. When our mother became severely ill with advanced diabetes, she required open heart surgery, carotid artery surgery, and a dialysis fistula. Our mother was a stubborn patient who frequently fought her medication, resisted her strict dietary limits, and sneaked restricted food and water, which would make her incredibly sick. Through it all, my sister sat by her side every single day, holding her hand, defusing difficult moments with patience, and keeping her strictly on track. She also managed our mother’s transport and schedule for dialysis three times a week without fail. In addition to her incredible emotional resilience, she has an exceptional eye for physical wellness. She has a deep passion for natural healing and essential oils, which made her incredibly attentive to our mother’s surgical and self inflicted wounds, ensuring they were meticulously cared for, clean, and healing beautifully. Her care extends to her own home as well, where she has dedicated immense time and effort to successfully managing her husband's high blood pressure and heart palpitations, helping him get his health completely back on track. Her care and fierce dedication extend to the entire family, no matter the distance. During a time when I was living out of state in Ohio, I had lumpectomy surgery to remove two cancerous tumors and she was constantly checking in on me and deeply invested in my well-being. Now that we live in the same state, she continues to make sure I am healthy and looked after. My sister genuinely wants a long, healthy, and happy life for everyone she encounters. She treats every individual like family, bringing a rare blend of medical attentiveness, emotional warmth, and fierce advocacy to her work. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her looking after their loved ones, whether they are children or seniors.
