I truly enjoy encouraging children, supporting their development, and creating a safe nurturing environment where they can thrive. I have years of experience caring for children from infant to pre-teens. For the past 4 years, I've been the permanent substitute teacher at an Elementary school working in both general and special education classrooms. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and enjoy reading, crafts, outdoor play and games. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping, carpooling, and maintaining open communication with parents. I cannot recommend Cathy highly enough! She exceeded every expectation in caring for our 6-month-old daughter. She quickly got to know her personality, cues, and routine, and it was obvious how genuinely invested she was in her well-being and development. Our daughter absolutely adored her from day one and would light up with excitement every morning when Cathy walked through the door. On top of being amazing with our daughter, Cathy always respected our parenting preferences, followed our guidance, and consistently went above and beyond. She is incredibly dependable, thorough, responsive, and an excellent communicator. I always knew our daughter was safe and in the best hands. Cathy is also a joy to have in your home. So kind, respectful, professional, and genuinely warm. If we still needed childcare, she would absolutely still be our nanny and we will miss her. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her!
