About Cathy

I have 5 years of experience with caring for the elderly. I stayed with one person the whole time. She needed me to help her get up, go for walks, give her medication, on schedule on time, etc. But mostly we'd talk about her life, sing songs together, play cards or games and laugh together! She also liked to color (in coloring books (I did also) and she drew sketches, beautiful drawings-she was a Graffic Artist for a firm in Manhattan most of her life! I have loads of patience. I enjoy just listening (or if they are not talkative that's fine too). I am an excellent companion. I like to do what they like to do, if they're happy, I'm happy! I have my own car.
