About Catherine

Hello! My name is Catherine! I'm a dependable, compassionate caregiver with a background in education, childcare, coaching, and emergency medical care. I currently work as a 7th and 8th grade Fitness Teacher and am looking to transition into a caregiving role where I can support others in a more personal, one-on-one setting. I have 8-9 years of caregiving experience and have worked as a teacher, coach, nanny, and caregiver. I studied Sociology at UC Berkeley and am a certified EMT and BLS provider, with training in safety, first aid, emergency response, and caregiving. I'm drawn to senior care because I value meaningful connection, companionship, dignity, and independence. I'm happy to assist with daily needs, walks, errands, light household tasks, and companionship. My approach is rooted in patience, empathy, respect, and reliability. My goal is to provide thoughtful, trustworthy care that helps seniors feel safe, valued, and supported.
