About cate

Hello! I am UCSC alumna who graduated with a degree in psychology. During my time in school, I completed multiple courses in childhood and adolescent development. I have found that my area of study has provided me with the background knowledge to better understand the kids I work with. As for my childcare experience, I have worked as a babysitter in the past, and am currently employed as a part-time nanny for a toddler (almost 2) and young child (4). I also work as a youth climbing instructor at Pacific Edge Climbing Gym where I spend time helping kids develop their climbing skills. Sadly, the child I care for part-time with will be starting school at the end of October, and so my current nanny position will be coming to an end. I am reaching out because I am searching for a new family to work with for the coming months. I have a vehicle for transportion, and can cook, clean, or help with homework if needed. Let me know if you have any questions!
