I've always had a passion for working with children. After some college, I decided to become a caregiver to make a positive impact on their lives. I'm patient, calm, and friendly, which helps me connect with children and build trust. When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in open and regular communication, whether it's verbal updates at pickup or text messages throughout the day. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, as I believe consistency is key. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles. I also like to incorporate educational games that promote learning and development. With one year of experience, I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time (could be more than one). I also speak both English and Spanish fluently. Besides childcare, I'm happy to help with light housekeeping, travel, or supervising children while they swim.
