About Casey

Hi! I'm Casey and I have over 12 years experience in early childhood education/childcare and am a mother of two. I have worked directly with lots of ages spanning newborns - middleschoolers. I am responsible, reliable, and energetic. I LOVE being outside and exploring nature. Bringing passion for the natural world to the little ones I work with is one of my greatest joys. I use a blend of early childhood educational approaches, primarily the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches. I like to focus on natural, low stimulation (less bold overwhelming colors and visuals and loud sounds, etc.), highly creative play based developmentally appropriate learning provocations. I am first aid and CPR certified and have been able to put them to good use over the years and have successfully preformed the Heimlich maneuver to save a kiddos life. Light household chores, pick-up/drop-off, meal prep (I am a classically trained chef and work as a private chef/pastry chef), and laundry, if needed.
