About Caroline

I grew up in the Bethesda, MD area. I graduated from St. Andrew's Episcopal in 2003. After high school, I attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. At HWS, I majored in American Studies with a minor in Education. I studied Elementary Education and received a teaching license from New York State in grades 1-6. After college, I spent two years teaching at a Nursery-9th grade private school in Connecticut. I co-taught both third grade and Kindergarten. I also co-taught after school activities in the outdoors, arts and crafts, and sports (lacrosse and basketball). After two years, I returned to Bethesda and enrolled in a full-time Master's program in reading at University of Maryland, College Park. Upon graduation, I was hired as a Kindergarten Teacher. This School is an early childhood school, pre-k-2nd grade. I have taught Kindergarten there now for two years and will be returning next year. Besides teaching, I have worked in the summers as a camp instructor for both regular summer camps and outdoor adventure camps. I absolutely love working with kids and spending time in the outdoors!
