I just finished my second year of college, working towards a degree in special education. I would love to be selected to care for your children! I have had regular babysitting/nannying jobs (several days a week for 4+ hours a day) for the past 10 years, watching anywhere from 1-5 children at a time. I prefer zero screen time, especially before 2yrs old, but I also appreciate educational media for kids, and the occasional Disney/Pixar movie! I encourage imaginative play and outdoor play as much as possible, and I find joy in helping the kids I work with reach their developmental goals and milestones! I am honest, patient, responsible, and reliable. I am comfortable working with children with special/unique needs as well. I am also comfortable with all animals! Brooklyn is a godsend! She is the first nanny I have ever hired so can imagine I was nervous. Right away I knew she was someone special. She has been watching my 7 mo old for 4 months now. She is so attentive to him. He smiles every time he sees her walk through the door. Brooklyn brings sweet little gifts for him (which is so over and beyond anything I could ever ask for!) ; she also has a very wise way of knowing when to check in with me and make sure I am comfortable vs give me space to do my work. I wish I could have her as part of our family forever and ever.
