This introduction is a bit of a placeholder while I begin exploring my options. I worked as a full-time nanny for almost 10 years, then decided to take a break to recharge my batteries that happened to coincide with Covid. I have been extremely lucky in that I have only ever worked for wonderful families, so my expectations are quite high. Becoming a nanny for a family means becoming a de facto member of that family, and in my experience it is critical to find the perfect fit. I am most interested in caring for a newborn, as I've enjoyed beginning at birth or six to eight weeks and staying with that child and family through the early years. I am in my mid-forties, married, adore children, have extensive experience in child care as well as a master of fine arts in creative writing, am outdoors oriented, and enjoy households with a pet or two.
