About Barbara

Barbara was our first nanny, and we truly feel blessed to have found her. What began as a childcare arrangement quickly became so much more—Barbara became part of our family. She cared for our son from ages 2 to 4 and played an instrumental role in his growth during those important years. Every day, she picked him up from school, took him on adventures to playgrounds, the library, swim lessons, tennis lessons, playdates, and countless other enriching activities. She didn’t just watch him—she invested in him. Having raised four boys of her own, Barbara brought an incredible depth of experience, wisdom, and patience to our family. She became like a second mother to both my wife and me, offering guidance, encouragement, and support that helped us become better parents. She helped our son build confidence, develop kindness, and learn important life lessons through everyday conversations, activities, and her positive example. Barbara read to him daily, prepared meals, helped with errands, and was always looking for ways to make our lives easier around the house. She consistently went above and beyond what was expected. Perhaps most impressive was her reliability. In more than two years, Barbara was never late, never called out sick, and was one of the most dependable people I have ever met. We always knew that if Barbara said she would do something, it would get done. The only reason Barbara is no longer with our family is because our jobs required us to relocate to Atlanta. If we had stayed in Florida, we would have kept her forever. To this day, my wife, son, and I still miss her dearly. Our son still talks about her and asks when he will see her again. Hiring Barbara was one of the best decisions we made as parents. She cared for our son as if he were her own, and we trusted her completely. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have Barbara in their lives. If she were in Atlanta, we would hire her back in a heartbeat.
