About Athena

Hi parents and guardians! My name is Athena, and I'm a graduate student at Georgia Tech and Clayton State University, where I also work as a Graduate Research Assistant. I'm looking for a meaningful opportunity outside of academics doing something I genuinely enjoy-working with children. I have experience with children from Pre-K through middle school. I currently teach Sunday School to elementary-aged children, preparing lessons and engaging activities. I've also volunteered at C. J. Hicks Elementary, tutoring first- and second-graders in math and English, and interned at Lorraine Elementary, where I worked with fourth-graders and assisted with lesson planning and teaching. I also completed three years of Early Childhood Education in high school and have tutored middle school students. I'm patient, responsible, attentive, and happy to help with homework, reading, playtime, and educational activities. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
