About Ashanti

Hi! I'm Ashanti. I'm a mom of three, and I've been working with kids in some capacity for pretty much my entire adult life. I'm also a teacher, so between my own kids and my career in education, there isn't much that surprises me anymore! I genuinely enjoy being around kids and getting to know their little personalities. I'm perfectly happy coloring at the kitchen table, helping with homework, playing outside, doing crafts, watching the same movie for the 47th time, or just hanging out and letting kids be kids! I'm CPR and First Aid trained and can also help with meals, homework (my certification is in 4-8 mathematics), transportation, and picking up after the kids. Mostly, I'm looking to connect with a family who wants someone dependable, caring, and easy to work with, and someone their kids will actually be excited to see when I show up.
