About Arrisa

Hi, I'm Arrisa! I'm a 2020 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in English and Film Studies. Prior to graduating with this degree, I previously studied psychology and pre-medicine with a research interest primarily in pediatric psychiatry before switching majors. With that said, I still have a VERY heavy history in childcare and healthcare, specifically children with mental and behavioral illnesses aging back to 2013 when I started as a nursery work at a local church in Tower Grove. I took on another church nursery position in Milwaukee and various nanny and caregiver positions in between. In 2016, I received my certification as a postpartum doula which I feel will contributed greatly to a lot of my positions with infants, toddlers as well as housekeeping and caring for parents after welcoming their new additions. Now back in St. Louis, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to get back to my roots: having fun with local families!

Arrisa helped provide childcare for multiple children during a party we hosted. She was great! The kids all loved her, she was fun and interactive, and she kept everyone safe. Good at enforcing house rules as needed. All the toys were put away and food was cleaned up when she left! Great sitter, great communication, would definitely hire her again in the future.
