Arlene went above and beyond to take care of my mom. Even though she was with us for a short time, she did everything she could to help.  She was kind, considerate, and patient. Arlene can handle any situation.  

Arlene F was recommended to me by another care giver who was taking care of my wife (Hilma) during 2019 and 2020. I needed the additional help. Arlene played an essential role in caring for her by providing home cooked meals, giving baths with proper hygiene cleaning, assisted in bathroom necessities, and helping with physical therapy on an as needed basis. The was essential because the physical therapist was able to come only a couple day a week. This therapy was necessary as my wife was dealing with Parkinson's Disease. Arlene was very attentive to Hilma by just being near her, covering her when she fell asleep, talking to her, and playing simple games like bingo and matching like cards. Hilma also suffered from slight dementia which can be a by product of Parkinson's. Arlene accompanied me to the Doctor appointments as needed. Hilma needed a walker. I also used a transport chair when necessary. Arlene took care of Hilma for almost a year before she died. She was wonderful.

Arlene is polite and eager to please. My mother likes her and that's a big deal. Lol.

Arlene came to us touting many years of experience.  She was pleasant on the interview.  Day one she fell asleep for several hours in the recliner during the morning and afternoon again,  as my mother was left to care for herself.  That behavior did not change.  When my mother  hit her "panic" button. Arlene did not respond until the third time the button was pushed and took her time in asking if she needed help.  Arlene was hired as a live-in as that is the care my mother needs.  She is less than acceptable,  We have learned that she is deaf in one ear and less than 70 percentage hearing in the other ear.  She also has a large appetite therefore you'll need to stock the kitchen.  I would advise not to hire this candidate.  I cannot express anymore in our disappointment with Arlene.

Arlene is a very sweet, efficient, and caring lady.  She arrived at my home on time, was a very pleasant travel companion while driving me to the outpatient center for my procedure.  Arlene confirmed the date, time, and location with the center to make this assignment as  smooth as possible.   I highly recommend Arlene and will hire her again.

Outstanding!   We hired Arlene to help with our grandmother's day to day needs. Unfortunately the situation changed for us.
There are so many great qualities in Arlene, that we know our grandmother (and family) appreciated her very much. Arlene's primary goal was making sure she was happy and comfortable. Sharing stories, playing cards, a quick meal or something to drink, bathing and dressing, and even suggested additional moisturizer for her dry skin. It was great that she was also able to get our grandmother out on the deck a little for some sunshine and fresh air and conversation. She is very patient, outgoing, and shared a lot of her ideas Plus great job cleaning the house and making things in the house more organized for accessibility and general neatness. Even laundry got done which we didn't expect. From the family's experience, Arlene gave 110% and her assistance was very much appreciated !! We were so happy from the telephone interview and first day meeting her at the house
