Think of me like a modern day Mary Poppins. I have decades of experience in all areas. Raising my daughter as a sole parent (deserves a lifetime achievement award), night nurse to family & friends, working with teens & young adults,(personally & professionally) and all areas that a mother could possibly need. When my daughter was young I used this app to find childcare. Most profiles were young girls or college students. It made me nervous in a multitude of categories. I wished for profile like mine. I've had a demanding & emotionally taxing career for years and has burnt me out. I want something that brings me joy. I love children of all ages. Supporting a family is twofold for both you and me. Yes, my rate is higher than somebody in their 20's. You're getting life experience, peace of mind & skillset decades older. I don't drink or use drugs ( I wanted to test for when I was the parent), I don't have tattoos (if that matters) can travel, clean driving record & trustworthy.
