About Anne

Hi! My name is Ms. Annie, and I'm a lifelong educator, mother, and animal lover. After 21 years of teaching elementary school in MVWSD, I'm taking a break from the classroom and looking forward to working with children in a more personal setting. I am looking for one time or once in a while jobs. I am not looking for recurring, full days commitments. While tutoring is my preference, I'm also open to babysitting and helping with driving and errands. I have experience teaching all grade levels from TK through 5th grade, including extensive experience working with language learners and neurodiverse children. I love making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. I would describe myself as empathetic, patient, understanding and dependable. Creating a safe and positive environment for children is very important to me. I'm also a proud mom to a 19-year-old son, and I have an 8-year-old dog and a 6-year-old cat. I love children and animals!
