About Angela

I'm warm, empathetic, and inspired by the curiosity of children. I started babysitting as a pre-teen, including for a family that became my second family, and have worked with kids since: leading nature-based programs for grades K-4, supervising camp groups ages 6-17, and serving as a 3-month long-term sub for a 3rd-grade class. As Education Coordinator at Garden of the Gods, I created a children's mindfulness series, Mindful Mondays. I use nature-based learning to spark curiosity and sensory awareness, and calm, steady routines to help kids settle and work through big feelings. I can help with meals, light housekeeping, and transportation, and I'm CPR/First Aid certified. I'm a nature and forest therapy guide, in training as a psychosomatic practitioner and yoga teacher. I'm returning to childcare to nurture healthy environments for kids and prepare for motherhood someday. For infants, I'd love to begin as a mother's helper to learn the rhythms that best support your little one.
