About Andrea

I have about 25 years of experience working with children, including as a mentor, tutor, summer camp counselor, special education paraprofessional, and currently work as a middle school counselor. I started babysitting kids of all ages when I was in middle school and have done it on and off as a side gig since then. In the summertime, I'm available pretty regularly to help whenever needed. During the school year, I'm a lot busier but free to babysit on weekends and evenings - primarily for date nights and other events. I coach sports at my middle school so my CPR/first aid certification is always up to date (most recently renewed in August 2026). I love being active and outdoors, sports, crafts, reading, music, and having fun!

Andrea was just wonderful! She made my 6 year old feel really special and they had a wonderful evening. My 1 year old usually really struggles when we leave, but he felt so comfortable with her he didn't even seem to care. I also felt peace of mind and knew they were in good hands. She provided text updates without being asked, which any parent can appreciate. Also, I loved not coming home to a mess, which with my kids I know takes effort!! Hopefully we can have her back again, highly recommend : )
