About Andrea

Hi! My name is Andrea, and I have about four years of experience working with children. I truly enjoy working with kids and being able to support them as they learn, grow, and develop their confidence. I currently work as an after-school teacher and have experience working with children of different ages. I have worked with both English- and Spanish-speaking children, which has helped me communicate with children and families from different backgrounds. Through my experience, I have learned to be patient, responsible, caring, and flexible. I understand that every child is different and may need different types of support and encouragement. I always try to create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and respected. I enjoy helping children with their activities and homework, keeping them engaged, and encouraging them to learn and have fun. I would describe myself as dependable, caring, and someone who genuinely enjoys working with children.
